New Cinema Paradise Ennio Morricone (1928-) is an Italian composer born in Rome who has been composing and arranging film music since the 1950s. He has composed music for many famous films such as "Once Upon a Time in America", "Mission" and "Untouchable". In 2016, he won the Academy Award for Best Score for "The Hateful Eight." "New Cinema Paradise" is a 1988 Italian film directed by Giuseppe Tornatore. Morricone was working on another movie at the time, but when he read the script for this movie, he declined it and took on the music for "New Cinema Paradise." Ennio himself says that "Theme of Love" was composed by his son Andrea and was slightly modified by Ennio. This score is written for a clarinet octet, but it is possible to increase the number of some parts and play it with a clarinet choir. The 6th clarinet can be replaced or duplicated by the alto clarinet or basset horn, and the contralto clarinet by the contrabass clarinet and double bass.
